The club also hosts lectures and exhibitions about chess, offers tournaments regularly, and works with the community at large to promote chess in Africa.

About Our Chess School

How the Academy Works

Instructors from ACL Chess Club provide chess classes that teach fundamental chess elements in addition to promoting educational values that can be taught through chess. Classes will focus on chess fundamentals while also incorporating lessons on critical thinking, planning and logic. Students are encouraged to demonstrate sportsmanship and to strive for success in the classroom as well as over the chessboard.
